This piece focused on our relationship to our phones, and what it means to be 'wired' as an audience member.
To connect to audiences through their own phones, I wrote a code to send mass texts/calls on cue. This was achieved by writing a script implementing Twilio's API. Images, links, and messages were sent to transition or invite participation via polls.
Audiences were delighted at having their own device be a part of the story, and felt chills as a character onstage caused a chorus of phone chimes to go off simultaneously.
